ABOUT US

My name is Rosa Sánchez. I was born in Hellín (Albacete), but when I was just a few months old, my parents decided to move to Almoradí (Alicante), so you could say I’m more from there.
My passion for English began early on; when I was little, my father would teach me some phrases he knew in English from his contact with foreign customers, and I would learn and repeat them, so I knew exactly what I wanted to study by the time I was in high school.
I studied English Translation and Interpretation at the University of Alicante, I obtained my certification as a Sworn English Translator and Interpreter granted by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and have been working in that field since I graduated, alongside other activities.
Years later, the urge to go back to study something else led me to pursue an online master’s degree at the University of Barcelona, where I earned a Master’s in Audiovisual Translation—a field I’ve never worked in, though the program was fascinating and allowed me to explore other areas of the industry and meet some very prominent film translators!
Aside from translating and being a mom :) strength training is my passion, and that’s where I go every day to give it my all! Hiking, dancing, nature... these are activities that nourish my body and mind.
The idea for the name TRADUSAN (TRADUCCIONES + SÁNCHEZ) came up during a family meal at a time when I decided I needed to take a step forward and professionalize what I was doing a bit. After mulling over the name and asking my family for advice, that’s how my business name was born—though I’m the one behind it ;) and my team of colleagues who specialize in other languages, whom I thank for their patience and dedication.
